Can I make this salad ahead of time?

Totally. This salad holds up very well for 3 to 4 days, even with the dressing mixed in. The kale stays sturdy and the flavors get better as they sit.

Can I use a different type of squash?

Absolutely. Delicata, acorn, or kabocha squash all work well. Just adjust roasting time as needed.

What can I use instead of feta?

Goat cheese, ricotta salata, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts are great options if you want it dairy-free.

Can I serve this warm?

Yep, toss everything together while the quinoa and squash are still slightly warm for a cozy, comforting version.
