- 4 boneless chicken breasts or 8 chicken thighs
- 1 cup chicken stock or water
Instructions
- Place your chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom on your slow cooker in a single layer.
- Add in the 1 cup of chicken stock or water.
- Cook the chicken in the slow cooker with the lid on until the chicken is tender and easy to shred. 3 to 4 hours on low, or 1 to 2 hours on high.
- Check the chicken is tender and falls apart easily. Once it is ready, transfer it to a cutting board or bowl and shred to your desired consistency using two forks.
